1. What AirSparsh does
AirSparsh lets you control your Android device with hand gestures processed on the device. An index finger moves a pointer, a thumb/index pose freezes it, and a pinch sends a tap. Open-palm gestures scroll or navigate. Optional call gestures request answering, disconnecting, or a speaker toggle. Recognition can make mistakes; you remain in control through the camera switch, pause control and Stop notification action.
2. Camera frames and hand positions
After you review the camera disclosure, grant Camera permission and switch control on, the app processes front-camera frames and hand landmark positions in memory to recognize gestures. The camera continues while you use other apps until you stop it, lock the screen, or Android ends the service. Frames are released after processing. AirSparsh does not record or save camera photos/videos or upload frames or hand positions. CameraX and MediaPipe run inside the app for local camera access and gesture recognition.
3. Accessibility and on-screen information
After separate affirmative consent and your enabling Android Accessibility, AirSparsh can send taps, swipes, scrolls and navigation actions to your device in response to your gestures or explicit test controls. If you also enable call gestures, the app can inspect the active Phone or WhatsApp screen's visible text, control labels and properties to locate call buttons. That screen may contain personal information or other text. AirSparsh uses the returned information only to find the requested call control. It does not save or transmit screen text, extract credentials, monitor typed input, or collect messages or conversation history. It does not plan or initiate tasks independently of its defined gesture mappings.
4. Optional phone and notification permissions
READ_PHONE_STATE checks whether a SIM call is idle, ringing or active. ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS allows answer and end requests. These are requested when you opt in to call controls, not as a requirement for pointer control. The app does not request call-log, contacts, SMS, microphone or location access in this Camera version. It does not record calls or read telephone numbers or call history. Notification permission lets Android show the active-camera notification and Stop action. If notifications are denied, Android controls the remaining foreground-service indicators; you can always stop the camera in the app or lock the screen.
5. Local settings and diagnostics
Pointer speed, close-range mode, call-control preference and consent versions are stored in the app's private local storage. They remain until you reset them, clear app data or uninstall. Android backup is disabled for the app. Release builds do not log raw hand landmarks, camera frames, screen text or continuous call-state samples. Basic operation/error messages may appear in Android system logs. The optional touch-test screen shows test results and logs its own test target coordinates/events locally; these are not uploaded by AirSparsh. Android controls system-log retention. Development builds may have additional local diagnostics and are not the Play release described by this policy.
6. Collection, sharing and third parties
The Camera release has no Internet permission, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, cloud processing or in-app data upload. Its camera, screen and phone-state processing stays on your device. AirSparsh does not sell data or transmit app-processed personal data to the developer or third parties. Your use of Android, Google Play, Phone, WhatsApp or an email provider is separately governed by their own policies. An action requested by your gesture can affect those apps in the same way as your touch.
7. Your choices and deletion
Camera and call gestures can be switched off independently. Use Stop camera in the notification or lock the screen to stop camera processing. Stop & withdraw consent stops camera/touch output, clears saved controls and removes in-app consent. Android permissions and Accessibility service enablement remain under your control in Android Settings. You can revoke permissions there, clear AirSparsh app storage, or uninstall. Processing buffers are discarded when processing ends; no server copy of camera or screen data exists in AirSparsh. No app account exists to delete.
8. Support requests
If you choose to email the developer, your email provider sends your email address and the information you include to Kamran Ansari. This is separate from the app and used to respond to your request and maintain necessary support records, not for advertising. Do not send passwords, private call details or other unnecessary sensitive content. Ask for deletion of support correspondence at the contact address above; correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations.
9. Children and sensitive use
AirSparsh is a general device-control utility and is not designed or marketed specifically for children. No advertising, profiling or account registration is provided. Do not rely on gesture recognition for emergency calls or actions requiring guaranteed accuracy. No medical or disability-treatment claim is made.
10. Changes and contact
This policy describes AirSparsh Camera, not the separate Hybrid/BLE variant. Material changes in camera, Accessibility or phone-data use require an updated disclosure and consent before the changed use. The effective date will be updated.
